Tian Yuan Temple Honeymoon Session | Taiwan

Wow, I can’t believe I never posted this honymoon session of Genie and Dan! Since I’m still in Taiwan, now is the perfect time.

We met up on a rainy and cold day for a session at Tian Yuan Temple (天元宮) in Tamsui. The entire temple was covered by pink cherry blossoms and the rain didn’t stop anyone from visiting. Here are some of my favorites from our session.

We teamed up to create beautiful portraits of women of all ages and we are excited to share our newest idea…Little Black Dress Sessions! The LBD Session is great for the sexy woman who doesn’t want to do the more intimate boudoir photoshoots. Since everyone owns a little black dress that makes them feel sexy, why not get dolled up and indulge a little! To make it even more fun, bring along your besties, bridesmaides, mom, or sisters to make it an event.

Northern California Family Roadtrip

Recently, my brother and I took our Mom up north for a little family road trip. We’ve never done anything like this as a family (minus Tim because he had to work) so we were all super excited! It wasn’t a long trip, but we sure packed in a ton.

We started our trip in one of my favorite cities, San Francisco.

Next up, we made our way to Napa. Since I’m allergic to wine (sad, I know) and my Mom doesn’t drink, my lucky brother got to taste some pretty amazing stuff at Artesa.

Next, we made our way through The Avenue of the Giants all the way up towards Mendocino. We spent 2 nights in the area and just explored. We were lucky because the weather was amazing.

Romantic Bridal : Walk in Love

This is a pretty series I called, Walk In Love. The moment I saw this Wtoo dress called Olivia at Ferndales Bridal, I knew I had to have it. Since I’m already married, a photoshoot will have to do. This is one of the most beautiful gowns I’ve ever seen. The color is a soft blush/cream they call Oatmeal. Genie from Petit Plum created the most beautiful headpiece to match the gown. This one of a kind piece is made from vintage lace and jewels. Genie then did an amazing job with the model’s hair and makeup! Here are some of my favorite images. This photoshoot was amazing. From the styling, model, and location, I couldn’t ask for anything better! My talented brother in law Joe from Beauty by Joe and hair stylist Jordyn Heer did an amazing job on completing Kelsey’s look. Of course, there is Kelsey. Thank you so much for braving the freezing and windy day and being such a trooper!

I think this session would be an amazing alternative to your traditional boudoir session. It is a little edgier, but at the same time, you are not just posing in your standard lingerie. I would love to shoot more sessions like this!
