As we are getting ready for our next East Coast trip, I realized that I never blogged images from our trip! Tim and I went last October for my 30th birthday and to visit my brother who is currently attending Boston University. When we go this time, it will be for his graduation. What’s even better this time? My mom will be flying over from Taiwan for the trip! Can’t wait to show her around Boston and take her to New York. She lived in the US for over 20 years, but never had the opportunity to visit the East Coast.
Here are some of my favorite images from our last trip. As you will see, most of it will be food pictures. We love to eat 🙂
The day I turned 30!
A picture of the financial district in Boston. That’s my brother Henry. He’s a fast walker…
You’ve never had a cannoli until you’ve had one from Bova’s. Since we had to wait for our table at Neptune’s, we made a quick stop at Bova’s. It’s a great alternative to Mike’s Pastry or Modern Pastry.
Ok, any trip to Boston is not complete until you go to Neptune Oyster. Besides the fresh oysters, you MUST try the Lobster Roll.
This is the famous lobster roll and it is as good as it looks. Make sure you order the hot lobster roll. The big chunks of lobster covered in butter is so yummy!
My brother also took us to Finale for dessert. Their Molton Chocolate Cake was baked to order and the side of coffee ice cream was just perfect together. We also had a sampler plate and I got to try Boston cream pie for the first time.
We actually took the Duck tour around Boston! It was so much fun and definitely something different. Can’t wait to take my Mom on her first Duck tour next month.
