Orange County Engagement Session | Elaine + James04.11.12

There is only 1 rule when I shoot and that is to have fun.  Elaine and James definitely got  it down!  I had a blast photographing these two (and Ollie) at their beautiful home and Irvine Park.  To say that Elaine is crafty is an understatement.  To prepare for this session, she hand painted the signs below and created a beautiful balloon wall!  Check it out for yourself below :)

Elaine and James, I can NOT wait until your big day!

China Anniversary Trip 201204.04.12

For the past 3 weeks, Tim and I were lucky enough to spend time in China and Taiwan.  While I’ve been to China many times, it was the first for Tim.  Our amazing anniversary trip couldn’t have been more adventurous and this trip will be hard to top!  Here are some of my favorite images from Jiuzhaigou National Park, Leshan Giant Buddha, Chengdu Panda Reserve, and this cute old town that I can’t remember the name of.

That’s us :)

Tim and I took a little vacation to China for our 5 year wedding (10 year dating) anniversary.  Can’t wait to share some of the images, but this one is just too cute to wait.  Here’s the most adorable sleeping baby panda!

Mother daughter portrait | Mellie and Brynn03.08.12

I believe every Mom should have moments like these documented with their child because they grow up so fast!  I started photographing Mellie when she came into the studio for her maternity session.  Can’t believe it’s been 5 months since Brynn’s newborn portraits.  They really do grow up too fast!
